• Bio-catalysis: enzyme kinetics, purification, characterisation, immobilisation, and industrial applications of enzymes.

• Fermentation process development, production of enzymes, and other industrial products using agro-industrial wastes and by-products.

• Liquid and solid waste management, bio-remediation of textile and other industrial effluents.

• Bio-ethanol production using lignocellulosic materials.
